Well it's not much to look at but it's gonna look worse before it looks better. Did quite a bit of work on the car today. I just picked a spot and started going. I got the side and rear seat brackets removed and I drilled some of the spot welds on the center brace so that it can be removed. A lot of the spot welds were pretty hard to find due to all the rust, paint and seam sealer. Once that brace is removed I'll start working on the pans themselves. I removed a lot of old factory seam sealer so I can actually see where the seam is on the side of the pans. Bit at a time.

Inner rocker rust? Doesn't one of the floor pan manufactures include the inner rocker? Sherman maybe? If you can get them for not much more, it could save some fab time.

I think the Sherman ones do. I'm not sure how I'm gonna handle the inner rockers yet, but I'll have to see just how bad they are once I've got the floor removed.

This is the piece I really need. I don't know that anyone reproduces it. Goes between the floor and the inner rocker.

I've yet to see that section being made.

I havent seen it either, but I'm sure that as soon as I fabricate my own it'll show up in the next months OPG catalog. Seems like a pretty common piece to rot out.

Really I'm surprised at how much reproduction sheet metal has come out for these cars in just the past 5 years or so. Wish some of it had been available when I needed it.

Unless you're going to make me a set they won't show up until see that I don't need them. I'm still trolling CL to see if that guy who had the used floors repost them.

Yeah he had them cut rocker to rocker too, which would really make things easy.

What pisses me off is there are still NO fenders or decent header panels being made for any g. It's horseshit.

Well stop wrecking into sh/t and you won't need them to begin with, Mr. Magoo.
