Thanks bro 👍🏿Sounds good. Congrats!
Thank you, I have a good way to go but I can see the effort I put in it showing. This forum is the best and have helped me more than any car group. So this would not be possible without the awesome guys here, dedicated to keeping these cars alive.Awesome build! just read it from the front to back.
I will remember that when I build my next sboAwesome to see an aluminum headed Olds 350 going in one of these cars. So few people bother with GM's best 350, too bad. Way less bottom end issues when pushed hard vs the 455 as well.
Yeah, I nearly everything, just need an oil pump, pan and gaskets to do the 424 ci Olds 403 stroker after my 358. I plan to drop off the block at the end of the year at a different machine shop, so $1500 to finish it.I will remember that when I build my next sbo
I have a 78 Olds Dx block I'm going to stroke. It's already gas converted.Yeah, I nearly everything, just need an oil pump, pan and gaskets to do the 424 ci Olds 403 stroker after my 358. I plan to drop off the block at the end of the year at a different machine shop, so $1500 to finish it.
Contact Mark Remmel(Cutlassefi) when the time comes. He has brought a bunch of parts to the market, especially for the Olds 350, complete stroker packages. I know he did a few runs of Billet 5140 and 4340 4" stroke cranks, some with the 3" mains. My 424 is going to be very mild, thinking a 88 to 95 GM/Chebby truck with TBI. I miss my 94 Z71 that I put an Olds 350 in it.I have a 78 Olds Dx block I'm going to stroke. It's already gas converted.
