I've had several posts on here of the results after installing everying and cutting the front coils down, drove my SS to work today and took this picture..
UMI lowering springs; still suck? UMI or another brand?

Did you cut half a coil or a full coil off the front 2" Umi lowering springs?
I have nothing good to say about them, called them for info and the guy said what I had for the GBody was an old kit and could email me info on it, never got anything back. I cut the fronts down because I could given the shape of it and the rears are here in a box because I have no use for them.
Clearly not. Some Trimming is to be Expected.
I thought he was saying he got that great stance from UMI. Confused me.

I've mentioned it somewhere that the fronts I was trimming down but yea I bought the Eibach Pro Kit in Nov 2010 and installed it on my SS, so far the UMI Rears are settling in nicely and I trimmed the Eibach fronts down since I had that option without needing to spend any money on new front coils.
What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2021]
I got my fan switch panel I made earlier installed and wired in my center console, I used Rivnuts to mount it to make it easier to remove if I have to.

any time you static drop something it's a crap shoot,i don't care what marketing says.there's a few different factors with the car itself/owners vision's etc so there's no slam dunk of an application.plenty of people that had to trim the Moog 5662&5660's to their liking and those are revered springs in the GM world..
Yup there are a few manufacturers that even say trim to fit what you want. Weight of the car varies as well as a few other things.
