Someone on here had ordered the speedway ones and the ship date was pushed into Sept '24 already and may go further out
Pretty sure that was his previously updated ETA which has changed.....

After resetting my timing chain and matching up the dots, I got it all together again with meticulous tenacity. It took 3 days because G Bodys liked to scrimp on arm and hand room and I want no leaks. I think I got that accomplished but it. won't be obvious until I get it going. So I tried to start it and my new "blueprinted" OEM HEI is sending no spark. Out it will come and off to an auto electric wizard to FINALLY get this pig started! I don't do electricals, have no meters and wouldn't know what to do with one anyhow. I finally got compression, and it was great news, I think. 5 cylinders have 160, 1 each 163, 157 and 156. Gas and compression so all I need is spark and you would think all new parts would do it, but no...it is not my day yet. Anyway, I now have a few days to do the once over on bolts I loosened, check hoses wires, get the FREakin electric choke to operate / This has been excruciatingly tedious! So close and still no banana! It is holding Prestone and oil yea! Battery is charged I can't wait to do the cam break in and most of all hear the beast that I tamed!

I'm with you, BUT, when it came to changing anything near that gosh awful heat/a/c box, it's horrible. Trying to do valve cover studs and header bolts was a pain.

Very cool, man, very cool- I dig the valve covers. All of your hard work will be worth it when it fires up.

Yup that's definitely a thing with these cars as well as the FBodies, few others.

it's paying off Chuck,you're almost there👍
Yes thanks! I have to think it is or it would be the bonfire in my back yard :wax:.. What is interesting to me is how things can go bad when they are new. I have a long list of things I have replaced more than once without even a mile driven. Electronic vs electric, give me electric EVERY time! I could open a parts store with all the extras I have!
