I had a friend that added the turbo from a 3.8 carburated Buick V6 to a 260 Olds in a T-bucket. Ran pretty decent, but then again at 2000 lbs anything would. Eventually swapped in a 2.3 Ford turbo and AOD
I remember when drifting was called Autocrossing on Street Tires!!! :P
Anyhow, there were some brothers that had an Olds wagon that they Autocrossed and they were very low budget. usually running on used street tires that they bought cheap so the back end would come around alot often giving...
IDIOTS???!!!??? I have always loved wagons!!! I admit I like this Grand Am , if this would have been offered before I bought the Hurst I probably would have snagged it!!!
I would look way cool with a shaker sticking through the hood!!!!
I am just getting back into the car hobby, my last cars were Mopars and my last GM I put a 12 bolt in. I would like to put a 8.5 into the Hurst/Olds but you would think I could do better finding the Holy Grail for a Hood Ornament!!!
Just my $.02, but isn't the tailights on a A body Pontiac wagon different than the El Camino and Malibu??? Possibly the Bumper as well???
If so swap the tail lights, Oh and of course you would have to put in a Formula Steering Wheel. A shaker could be a cool touch too!!!

Are the emblems that are used on the '79 H/O unique or the same as some of the ones from the past. I know they are not the same as a '68 but have not really seen any others up close for comparison.
Also does anyone know if the Reproduction emblems from Fusick Automotive are of good quality...
Thanks...
...for the replies and info. I doubt I would be able to take the car to Canada for repairs but it is good to know the parts are available.
Can you do them on the car? How much work is involved?
Thanks
I know it is not uncommon for G-Bodies (and A-Bodies) to have rotted frame rails just behind the wheel openings.
My Questions are; How hard is this to repair?
How expensive is this to repair?
Who does this kind of work?
Thanks,
Scott
