Hello!
I thought that I would share my recent mod -- the installation of an AOS (Air/Oil Separator) system, or, in other words a "Catch Can - PCV system".
Until now, I ran with two breathers -- one on each valve cover. These were Billet Specialties with washable filter elements. Driver side had a breather with PCV in the valve cover with a 5/8" hose to the base of the carb. Passenger side had just a breather inserted in the valve cover. Having done some research on Catch Cans, it seemed like a good idea to install such a system to help the engine breath better and eliminate foul odors. There are numerous systems on the market -- all of them do their job more-or-less. Cost is not a guarantee for quality nor functionality. I chose the Mighty Mouse offering due to its esthetic appeal, "made in the US" and positive reviews.
Attached are some pics of the install. I'd like to get feedback/comments regarding your experiences (if any) with Catch Cans, as well as input regarding my install -- mistakes, options, or anything else.
Thanks,
