Make sure the brake pedal retains pressure after going full lock steering. May have to trim the a-arm where the caliper hits.
Did you try adding a spacer? 1/4 on my 15s work ..I also was rubbingToday i sourced a set of blazer spindles that were already on a 87 monte carlo in the salvage yard along with the f-41 jounce bars and 1.250 solid sway bar.
Anyways, i took a stock 14'' wheel and tire off of a 78 malibu and a 86 buick regal. When I mated it to the hub by hand it light;y scrubbed on 2 points on the top edges of the caliper. When i fully torqued the lugnuts and seated the rim it wouldn't turn.
However I am fairly confident that with a die-grinder and cartridge roll to the caliper the 14'' stock wheels ''may'' fit without any issues. The caliper was rubbing inside the wheel at the location where the 2 pieces of wheel are ''seemed'' together. This test fit didn't include any brake line test fitting for interference,

You will need these 7mm spacers
You will have plenty of threads left on the wheel studs so you dont have to worry about that.
