BUILD THREAD RealDealRegal Small tire Drag build

Doing a bit of Mock up for fathers day weekend 🙂. Got everything marked and measured out. Cleaned up and Tacked in with the Tig welder. Im going to end up taking the rear end back out and lift the body off again to really get on the weld locations. Im just not good enough to weld in these tight spots. Struggle just to tac with this limited space. My rails are notched to the seam as of right now. When I get the box in all done and welded in, im going to max notch. To give me the most clearance as possible. Ordered Strange Drag brakes with EVO 4 Low profile calipers. The wilwood rear brake kit I had did not fit in my wheels. The caliper would hit the inside beadlock ring! Looks like the strange kit should fit! Fingers crossed.

Good News Brakes fit. So I mocked everything up and tacked in my coil over bar, arb tabs and coil over tabs. And coil over cross braces. Then I tore everything back to bare frame. Wow what a mock up that was to take it all the way back apart lol. Up here in michigan its been 90+ with high high humidity. My moly is rusting just sitting here unpainted lol. In the process of slowly welding in those pieces.
