Usually I like to have multiple examples before I praise something but this time I don't. Only one story.
My 08 Allure Super has a battery that battery that is so buried. It's a pain to remove. I had to loosen the fuse box and radiator support bar and tilt the battery 90 deg to remove or replace it. I think they installed it before the engine. V6's are not the same. So to avoid tilting a lead acid battery. I bought it a Motomaster Eliminator AGM battery.
Last year I had to store it in a place I had no access to. Drove it in, disconnected the battery and returned 6 months later with a multimeter, booster cables and a car to jump it. I was sure the battery was going to be dead.
Leads on the battery said 12.5v! So I connected the battery leads, started it up and drove it home.
I'm confident a lead acid would not have been 12.5 after sitting for a 6 months.
