What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

And that mia piece includes the one wall for that drive notch. Any bets on it still sitting on the shaft down past the pump seal?
As for humor, well there is humor and then there is British Humor? That lot in the video above remind me of the Pythons at their silliest. Oh, just as a question, was this dialogue about an actual event or just something they ginned together to drive the audience out to the kitchen for another warm beer?

yeah i was able to fish out the mia piece by the notch
Impressive. I don't really know you well enough yet, but you guys seem to enjoy humor so here goes:

I first saw the skit a few years ago and never investigated but apparently it's referencing a real event:

Rebuilt my 1406 Edelbrock carb, had some older gas festering in it and it wouldn’t idle anymore. Found some black crap in the fuel bowls and cleaned it out well with spray and compressed air.

Also worked on fitting the fiberglass rear bumper fillers, the two outside ones fit alright but not great. The center is going to need some more work to fit.

What a waste and just another perfect opportunity at that time to jack gas and oil prices at the pumps. Burn, baby, Burn. Wonder why the local authorities didn't just authorize a "Live Fire" exercise for one of their subs and accidently on purpose blow the guts out of that hulk and sink her?

Did some more Vintage stuff. Couple vent things and assembled the firewall unit. I’m really hoping to install it in the car tomorrow. Fingers crossed we get some decent weather. Our post hurricane weather was real nice but I spent more of the day catching up on the calls that was missed Thursday.

I Clorox wiped the vents, just because I was there I sealed the halves of the OEM vents to try and seal things up nice.

Sealing as much of the vents/ducting as possible did make a difference on my previous rides. Where they 'snap' together, I sealed/wrapped as well if possible. Every little bit helped.

Any plans to vee out the seam/split to get better penetration and a deeper, stronger weld?
