    welcome to 2010 ;) i think there was the same discussion as GM used 6cyl (3800 V6 ;) )in the beginning of the 80th a 6 or 8 cyl wouldn't be bad, but its a problem to get the mileage same as a 4 cyl with the same efford. paying to much money to get to work isnt very helpful.

    the problem with all the "make hp with a 305" is that you'll have much of rpm. i think the most of us 305er cruiser ;) want more torque in the lesser rpm. like a diesel engine or tractor. an additional prob with lots of HP and torque is, whats with the drivetrain and the tires, using 205 WSW...

    here in Germany we have to use seperate Lights (no sealed beams) best combination is a Hella or Bosch H4 Lamp with Philips xtreme bulbs, i donno if they are betters then xenon conversion cause they aren't allowed here.

    should i go max 30 or 35? at the moment i changed the springs to get 21° @2900 and complete with initial i'm @ 29° and the engine runs nice. if 35 will be ok the next step i'll try changing to 25° @2700 to land @ 33° (using other springs AND stop bushings), for the last step i think i'll go...

    ah ok ty, that means that i could leave the stop bushings @21 (stock msd setting) (10BTDC plus 21 mechanical) which RPM could be recommended to have the max advance (atm its 4000)
