Anybody point me in the direction of good sources for new/aftermarket/used plastic trim pieces for the Malibu? Needing the A, B and C pillar pieces and probably the others as well..... -

Door hinge repair
If you decide to just do the pins, take the doors off.....I went through this on the weekend and even after I cut the pin, both pieces had rusted enough in the hinges to be very stubborn. I would still be there now if the doors were on the car. As a matter of interest, once the new pins are in...- shoedoos

I've already cured the park brake pedal assembly by spacing it out on an angle and it clears the down bar and functions as if it were OEM. The cross bar was the part I am worried about because I haven't got the dash handy to check fitment at present.....sounds like I am fine though....cheers for... -

I was going to run the down bars through the dash pad.....then hope to run the cross bar contoured across the firewall....just not sure how much room will be left for the speedo cable and wiring to back of the gauges? -

Sorry to Hijack......hey Clarmo, what is that front air dam on your Malibu and do you have any better pics of it? And as far as the exhaust issue, the OP has room where the original coil springs were to run a 3" pipe through. I bought a pair of off-the-shelf 3" tail pipes from Torque Tech... -

Has anybody managed to run a cross bar in behind the gauges in an OEM Dash and still have everything work? I want to run all the factory gauges and speedo cable and also have the cross bar run between the downbars on a rollcage in a Malibu..... Heater/Aircon is gone, just worried the bar will... -

Electric park brakes on a G-body? Anybody done the conversion?
In my instance there is a tangle of exhausts/mufflers, adjustable rear-link bars, frame bracing and inboard coilovers around the rear axle......just wanted to investigate the idea before figuring out how to fit the park brake..........was maybe over-thinking the situation.- shoedoos
