1983 2 door cutlass V-6 Diesel with T-tops. What in the world kind of combination is that. I knew that there were a few diesels, but dont know much about them in the ole g-bodies. Would a T-Top diesel be sought after? Just seemed like an odd combo. Tried googling for some info...looks like the...
I'm going to be in Omaha Thursday-Sunday. I remember last summer, someone saying there was a pretty good yard somewhere close to the Quest Center in Omaha. Anybody know of any good yards in Omaha and what they are called so I can look them up, where they are at?
Is there a Place to get replacement stickers for the door jambs. of all 3 G's I have none of them are legible any more. The only thing I can read off one door is that one sticker is Tire Load information, the other says something about Manufactured by General Motors. Then my GP also has a Canada...
I bought my 2+2 with intentions to repaint it. One thing I noticed that looked out of place (slapped on) was the seam sealer between the quaters and the fiberglass rear package tray? is this something that is suppose to be there or should I remove it?
I have a 86 GP 2+2 and the bumper is warped under the headlights. It's the yellow plastic and I'm a little hesitant to do anythign in fear of ruining it. I don't think it's a TPO bumper so heat won't work right? anybody got ideas?
Aynbody know how to do it. I have a rear plate housing for a Grand prix that I want to de-chrome and paint black. Isn't there something about vinegar mixed with 1 or 2 other things that removes chrome from plastic?
There is a 1980 3.8 turbo Riviera near me for $200 the listing says that it's the same as a GN motor. You guys know more than I do. Does it really have the same innerds and all? what kind of hp and fuel ratings do they get?
I've never paid attention to this before but I guess GN's have gas strut hoods?? IS it possible to make a Monte carlo to have this Gas Strut? or is the bracketry not interchangable?
Bought a steering shaft off of ebay that was out of a 94 Grand Cherokee. D-shaft was 5/8" wide. Thought this was what I needed but my steering column end is 3/4". whoops. I thought what I needed was a 93-98 grand cherokee shaft, were there other styles?
What is the piece that is between the dash and the center console? I've seen it on a few monte's now and I don't really know what I'm looking at, but may want one for my Monte, anybody know?
I need the 3 1/2's for the front, and what is it 8 1/2X3 for the back ( I cant remember) for my 87 monte. My 22 yr olds speakers finally gave out. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a good solid replacement. I bought some rampeage speakers 5 yrs ago for my other 87 monte and they didn't...
