Had the valve covers off, rockers are all loose, so either they are not properly adjusted hydraulic lifters or its got solid lifter cam. Short of taking intake off and taking out a lifter, how can I figure out whats going on.Engine is a 350 86 or newer one piece rear seal. Thats all I know...

I am wondering about the block in my El Camino,supposed to be a 350, the fuel pump mounting base has only one threaded hole and no hole into the engine like the old blocks have. I can't see any casting numbers since its in the car. Is this a newer block with fuel injection or what. Any answers...

Got a HEI upgrade kit from Summit, Summit brand. Coil already gave up after starting motor a couple of times. No spark.Replaced old coil. Engine runs like crap,like its not firing on all cylinders.Can the new module be crap too,or would it not run at all if it has something wrong with it. Harald

I am trying to change the factory ac set up in the engine compartment to non ac,will a non ac heater box bolt right in? any info appriciated.Also need the non ac heater box if anybody has one. 1980 El camino.
