I left my ac box in my 78 gp and just run heat i like yhe option of bein able to control where i put the heat you can run the heater through the ac outlets to keep warm.

I had hand built side pipes on a 83 camero sounded great ground clearance was an issue and so was getting burned everytime i got out of the car and the cops give me hell over them too.

When modules go bad in the distributer you can get the same results check for spark first before replacing the carb and x2 on checking for fuel

Now now children, as far as CARBS i have used all 3 and had the best luck with the afb style of carbs good mileage easy to work on good response but holley style are best for the track and i use a quad for a shelf carb for a spare, so i guess it is a matter of preference.

Yep times have changed, when i was in high school (90s) everybody had pickups with hunting rifles in the back window or we drove tractors to school occasionally you would see a camero or two that was passed down from one graduating class to the next there was one 74 challenger and one 72...

Summit has there own brand and style of carb part # SUM-M08600VS it looks like a holley only better it has replaceable discharge nozzles and idle restrictions, anyone use one yet? If someone has how about a product review 8)

The best header gaskets i have found over the years is to take two sets of stock gaskets and permatex the two fiber sides togother so the steel faces out on both sides, do it right and you will never have to replace gaskets again unless you take them apart.

Not bad are you going to be running fat tires. I wish i had fender flares on my 83 camero mabey the cops would have left me alone? I had 33x 12.5 street radials on the rear the tires stuck out about 4 inches on each side. Keep us posted on your progress!

Not all fillers are plastic you can buy a metal filler from a body shop this stuff has metal in it and when it dries it is so hard you have to use a grinder on it also it seals the metal from moisture oh yea a magnet will stick to this stuff, thi stuff is the only way to go for patch work.

Hey anyone out there know if Headman 68610 shorty headers out of a 75 comaro will fit my 78 Grand Prix i have a 454, and dont realy want the the hassle of long tube headers or spend a fortune on them. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
