New GTI's 06+ Have 200hp crank from factory - a $300 chip takes that to 260hp with nothing else done. There is zero turbo lag on these newer cars (save for sti and evo with mammoth turbo's) weight will be about 3400-3600. You may have your hands full depending on your car.
Could be a dealer code for service techs, my girlfriend just bought a G6 and it's got blue dots in the door jambs. When we asked out of curiosity it's so the same tech crews work on the same cars and they track it that way.
Welcome from another Buffalo area member, Nice looking Bu'. I've got an 83 Caballero, maybe we can get a mini-meet going at DTRP, I've been meaning to go for the last 2 years and just never got up to do it.
Why not rebuild your 2004r? There are companies that can build them to handle 1000hp, I think with a manual and some time you can build your own to handle any crate motor.
Wouldn't sound as good as a proper exhaust. I have had straight pipes all the way back with no cross-over. Now I have Pypes 2.5" system with X pipe and Violator mufflers, it sounds incredible.
I would suggest a Poly fuel cell, like http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM-290108&N=700+4294925239+4294839036+4294920243+115&autoview=sku
Nothing fancy. 4 gauge wire from + side of battery, thru firewall then attach to Capacitor. Then another separate wire from other terminal on Cap to + side of amp.
Is it dimming headlights on hard hits or are the subs just not performing at all? If its dimming you need a Capacitor as suggested. If it's just not enough you'd be much better off buying a better single amp.
Let me try again.
The senders currently in your car are setup to only send info after a certain point. Say water temp, as long as its below a certain temp it's not sending info. With the idiot lights it would warn you when its too hot. You need to change the senders to send info at all...
