Yes that helps, thanks.
Is there 2 pressure switches that take the round 2 terminal connector? There is one on the Accumulator that has a connector on it. Was there another on a cooling tube/hose somewhere?
I bought this car about 20 years ago with no motor or trans, put an LT1/T56 in it...
The connector you think is emissions plug & the AC pressure cycling switch are on the same harness & are wired like this:
There is a device on teh accumulator that has a similar round connector as above, but it has a connector on it.
The connectors in the bottom 2 images, i found disconnected from anything.
I think these 2 terminals are supposed to be in the 4 pin connector that has the heavy gauge red wire (top right in first image), but I don't know what that connector mates to either.
I thought the bottom round one...
Nope. I am in Virginia. I bought the car like that from a bank in Indiana, it was reposessed, didnt have motor or transmission in it, 4 spare tires, interior was all jacked up. I put an LT1/T56 in it, but now it has an LS2/T56 Magnum. It had the paint on it, wasn't planning on keeping it...
It's a custom set, I worked with their graphics designer to get these made I have had hem for over a year, got them on dale and paid for the custom face. I forget what I paid, heard that custom set is like $1500, I didn't pay that
Spent a little time yesterday to start to install my custom Dakota Digital gauges. I have the BIM-01-2 module which plugs into the ALDL connector of LS engines & will get inputs for the speed, tach, temp, oil pressure, & check engine light all from one wire.
Removed all existing...
I guess I should be more specific. On an LS swap where the alternator is on the drivers side. Did you go over the top of the motor, underneath, down & across the sway bar, or under fuel rail behind motor & down to the starter?
Stock Monte fuel lines are feed on passenger side & return & vent on the drivers side. I found a fuel feed line from a cutlas in the junk yard, but could only get part of it. I want it to run up the drivers side for the LS2, the filter & regulator are incorporated into one unit back by the tank.
It depends on what his plans are for the LT1; if he wants to swap the LT1 into the Tahoe & redo the wiring then it can be done. But if his plans are to use the block & heads & put his accessories & intake from the Tahoe onto it then no it will not work.
