sounds like the torque converter clutch solenoid, the converter is staying locked up and when you come up to a stop it bogs the motor down, its not to hard to replace and runs about $50.
i couldn't get my belt to stop squeeling when i took the belt off my AC on my 307, brand new belts i tried tightning, belt dressing etc... but it wouldn't stop. i put my ac belt back on and its been fine since. if you ask me its a bad pulley design.
there are people who fall for these things, how i don't know. i saw one guy on a program that gave away his whole life savings to these people thinking he was going to get a fortune in return. pretty sad.
i am looking to replace the 307 olds engine in my 86 regal with a 350 chevy my question is will my 200r4 bolt right up to the 350? i thought i remeber seeing that they have a dual pattern bellhousing?
