Wideband AFR. 😉

A narrow band is okay for telling you which way the AFR is going if you have stumbling issues, etc. but that's about it.

uve pretty much decided on fuel pressure at this point lol. now trying to figure out the plumbing as it will be pretty much a street car

ok cool. now the last major question is should i use hose barbs and hose clamps to plumb in the fuel pressure reg or something like the parker push lite race hose? its about a $95 difference in build price. and i believe i would need no more than 10ft of fuel line (mech pump to reg, reg to carb)

I would go with a pushlock style if I had a choice, probably less than 5 feet total.
If your going to spend the money anyway you can get some really good deals on braided line and an fittings on E-Bay, I actually bought some an fittings and line and was really suprised at the quality and price, I was making a jumper fuel line for emergency in case my primary fuel system failed I can run my car off my fuel pump for my nitrous it takes maybe 2 minutes to change over. Anyways I bought about 6 fittings and a couple feet of line I always run Earls swivel seal but these worked great and nice anodizing too at probably a 1/3 -1/2 of the price. The fittings I bought I believe are identical to Aeroquip style fittings and they assembled easy and no leaks.

I'd go trans temp, you dont want the trans getting too hot

I know you decided on fuel pressure but an AFR gauge is way more valuable for tuning purposes than an ultra expensive fuel pressure gauge.

Im running a manual trans and not an automatic

Also 8an is big enough isn't it?

8 AN is plenty big, you could probably get away with a 6AN. I'm running a 12AN from my cell to my pump and a 10AN to my BG 4 port regulator and two separate 8 AN lines going to the carb but I have slighly higher fuel requirements.

tachometer!
