10w30 Best oil for the olds 307 ??? brands ?

Oil guys for the 307...first oil change since i bought it a week ago and theres lots to choose from i wanna run a 10w30 but what brand ? and high mileage or not ? synthetic vs non ? i also wanna add some lucas oil stabilizer whats going to work best thanks for any info.

I prefer halvoline, mobil, castrol, pennzoil...any of those are fine. If you have over 75k miles, high mileage would be best IMO. You can run some lucas stabilizer if you want. I like it best for my cars that sit around and arent used everyday, its great for that, it clings to the internal engine parts to help with dry starts. If you wanna add any, put in 1/2 quart, if it has engine noises, drop in a quart of it.
