A little update on things. Progress has been slow but Upon closer inspection I found some issues with the engine I bought. The valve guides were cracked and the compression ratio was wrong for the cam specs. I learned my lesson on buying an engine from an unknown source. I tore the engine down and changed pistons for a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Put a pair of Brodix race rite aluminum heads and a Howard’s solid lifter cam.

I don’t have pics of the other progress but I had the glass installed. I got the headliner in along with the dash and wiring. I installed and Eaton posi, moser axles and a moser rear cover.

Looks good. I always thought that was the classiest color combination.

I agree, the burgundy over silver with the gold accent is very classy. If I ever do another G-body again (probably inevitable), it will be these 442 colors and it'll be a racecar. All I need is a good starting point of a shell/roller...

Looking good! I kind of like the BBC even though I'm a bit of an Olds purist. Don't see too many BBC swaps, mainly LS swaps.

Here are some pictures of the floor board and the bottoms of the doors etc.
I would recommend using por 15 on the whole floor pan .then putting down some flex seal on top of that (but the quart to brush is on) works magic!
