Nice! You gonna throw some paint on that beast?

Yeah it will get at least sanded and primed this winter. The car is rock solid rust free. It has original faded and chipping paint to the metal so I put the sht brown Eastwood rust preventer on it for now . It might look like crap but it runs like hell!!

Not too bad, how well did you finally hook up on the 12.06 run?
Whats the suspension on your car? Looks like you keep unloading the tires. How are the shocks set up? Whats your pinion angle set at?

Atco is my home track too, give me a heads up if you or your buddies have spot open in track rentals in the future. I and my buddies would be more than happy to help fill the roster.

Fun times, looks like you had the track to yourself too. Sorry I couldn't watch the whole thing, the shaky camera was killing me. On our setup we documented every different type of launch ie: what rpm's we staged, what jets were installed, how much psi etc. Just from a couple minor changes in launch rpm or tire psi we'd vary from 12.2 to 12.6.

Most of the difference came in the 60' time. I didn't see what your setup was, but we always found that by loading up the launch rpm real high like most people, that would really hurt our 60 foot times even though the tires weren't slipping. We gained about .3 in the 60 foot time just by launching at 1100 rpm and letting the converter "flash" when we hit the gas. When I launch at anything higher than the 60' time just deteriorated, without tire spin.

Makes me want to race again. Don't spend too much on paint, that could be more parts!!
