If I'm not mistaken the 78 Malibu/el camino is the only year that came with a splined column shaft. Once you pull your factory one off we will be able to see exactly what u need

Yea i think ur right...in another thread about the jeep shafts they talk about it..but canit find it...but yes i believe its different thread...maybe the one u have will fit it..holla

picked up a edelbrock 1406cfm electric choke on clist $120 rebuild..was on a 1966 buick convertiable fully restored,heard it run and sounded awesome..guess the guys going with a 750cfm edel..i win!! lol.will be getting all the gaskets i need to do the intake swamp carb, got some accel spark plug wires today from O'reily auto parts 4041r, thanks mel...but i need to take out that dayum AC first before i do some work..its going to get dirty boys!!!will post pics of everything i get once i get... stay posted...

pomona would be the place to get that stuff at....iwould do the weather stripping and stuff after you get it painted i would strip it off beofre you get it painted...
