Very, love the build. Can't believe I am just seeing this.

Such as pinion gears. With the mods you're talking about, you might be one of the few in actual need of a Ford 9".

Or a Strange S60 made to spec... being based on a Dana 60 is handy.

I got the cowl hood put back on and the front clip adjusted and bolted in now, also worked on some wiring under the hood with more pictures to come, mounted the dual battery trays so hopefully soon it will be time for a test fire. Have to measure for the fender hole for the exhaust and get that done so I can have the pipe made to come off the turbo and out the fender. My plan is to have that pipe ceramic coated to cut down on underhood heat since the hood Is so close to the turbo

Josh,
I'm diggin' it so far. It should be a pretty unique ride, and a stump puller for sure.

Eventually I want to put the monte carlo ss conversion nose on it just to give it that added look. Does anyone but the lauren engineering make those? Thanks Jack im glad you like it, kind of a beater compared to yours but being made with parts ive collected over the years its been fun and ive yet to have to buy anything for it

Interesting build! Agreed on the lower ratio highway gears, half the weight and all that torque you shouldn't need more gear. Figure out your ideal cruise RPM and it's easy to calculate what ratio you'll need (with tire dia.)
As for you trans and drive shaft issue...I ran into this one time years ago and my buddy that owns a trans shop (that does lots of perf./race trans. builds) said he could make that trans work with a slip yoke. We went a different direction back then but I'm sure he said he could machine the tail shaft housing. Might be cheaper then a two piece drive shaft deal.
Need a video when your done.
