However im concerned about the space for the passenger side head and the firewall, anyone with experience with this???

I don't have any personal experience with this, but I understand that's why Holley designed their G body LS swap system to mount the engine further forward, because the clearance for the right side head can be very tight, especially if you're still running an a stock type heater or HVAC system.

The holley mount is a 1" setback as well, but it sits lower in the cradle, which i dont think would make that much of a difference here, i could be wrong though.

Without any adjustability I don't know what you could do. Maybe just get some different mounts or modify the ones you have.

i'm sure it will be ok, as the engine will rotate toward the drivers side anyways and not backwards correct?

Incase anyone was wondering ..... 1" setback, low mount alt with truck spacing fits fine. If you had fbody or corvette spacing there would be even more room.

You also have solid mounts so that should help. Good thing you dont have a hvac box to deal with.
