BMR rear sway bar showed up …

They gave me a lead time from the other day of 6-8 weeks … not to happy about it…. But racecar .

Todays project was to tear down and put the engine on the stand start cleaning up
Got a pair of 821 heads I’ll be picking up tmro
I went with them to pick up some compression from the lq4 dished pistons
Every thing was super clean and bores were clean and they had plenty of cross hatching marks .. so I’m gonna gamble and not pull the bottom end apart. And leave the crank alone .
Not sure how many miles were in this but had very minimal carbon on the pistons a light wire brush and it just flaked off . Gotta get a 3claw puller tmro and get crank pulley and front cover off cam out .
Inspect and if everything is as good as the rest. I’ll put the BTR cam in and start to reassemble it.. gonna look into the 08-10 impala pedal too.. gonna buy corvette style fuel press reg, pump , lines tmro and couple other things like a ls1 oil pan .. enough for tonight guys ..

The 862 heads are decent enough but I’ll have to clean them up alil bit

With the motor coming together plus I’m always shopping for did areas of the car … the interior needed some parts love
Soooo swung by the yard cause heard a 08 impala console fits nicely.. found this gem ….
And holy sh*t .. I’m happy with it and 3 12v sockets ! Cup holders!
