Hey sorry on the lack of response, I went to a swap meet two weekends ago which didn't hold anything for me, I have had more luck on the rear bumper cover though, found one at a junkyard about 30 miles away (it's close to where I work so it wasn't too bad of a drive), still no luck on the others though but I'm still looking. And Dean I'm down in South Jersey, and funny you mention Canada having a bit of these cars up there, that's where mine was built! Shipping would get expensive but I'll have to see what I can dig up around here if anything.

Lots of our g-bodies were built in Ontario and either kept in Canada or exported to the US. Glad you found a rear bumper cover close by. If you give up on certain parts, let me know. Large parts will be expensive to ship but smaller ones should be reasonable.. Post some pics of the Lemans for us.

I found some 2" Custom Chrome for Trucks molding at AutoZone, and used that for the trim on my bumper covers. Hey, I know it's nothing like the trim from the factory, but the stuff was on sale, and it looks better than nothing! My bumper covers aren't in too bad shape, so I just lightly sanded them to clean them up a bit and used my airbrush to repaint them. I'm hoping to find a shop that can repaint the car next summer, so maybe when that gets done I can find some better trim for the bumpers...

Here is the '83 Bonneville nose, too old man looking for me (even though I'm almost 60, YIKES!). I like the LeMans nose better.

And here is the '81 LeMans nose I swapped, fenders the same, hoods were different, as is Grand Prix which has different fenders too.I'm missing the lower fender trim molding.

All the Pontiac A/G body dashes are the same with different fascias so that's where the customisation can be done. Otherwise any other car line dash would require the entire dash pad/fascias to be swapped in. This is the '83 Bonneville dash with the '78/'79 silver gauge/fascia. You can do a lot with what's available.

If you swap a Malibu/camino/wagon clip the wheel wells won't match,lemans/GA wheel wells are round & flared a little more,malibu/camino are squared off at the top

Exactly the reason I want to swap a Malibu clip onto my Bonneville...the quarter panel "cheat" Gm used on the Pontiac wagons bugs the carp out of me.

Add to that, the fender/bumper ahead of the wheel on the Pontiacs looks too long to me...makes the car look like it was dropped over a chassis that was too short.

Hi guys. Hello from eastern Canada. What years and models would I look for, to find this piece of missing chrome(painted black), for my right rear fender well? Btw, I've allready found the right rear trim ring and center cap. And no, she's not being used in the winter. I just took her out of the garage one day.

The Lemans is kind of a rare one, but my best guess would be the given 78-80 Lemans & possibly 78-80 Grand Am & 78-83 Malibu. Car looks great! Someone will chime in with any corrections if needed.

Isn't that an '81 nose? The '81 is the best looking of the bunch IMHO. I swapped one onto my '83 Bonnewagon and I too am looking for that section of trim molding.

Nice Lemans, Those 81`s are the nicest ones, nudge nudge wink wink. If you don`t find it before then, I may be able to get that moulding next spring when my local yard thaws out. They have a couple still in the yard.

Thanks guys! Yes, you're right Bonnewagon, it is an 81 LeMans. A piece off a Malibu might be easiest to find, and with a little pursuasion, could possibly be made to fit. I'll check out a local Malibu guru.
