I'm usually pretty quick, but what ya goin' here? Cold air blowing into hot air mix?

Pretty much. I tend to revisit ideas after a while in order to refine my original concept. In this case it is about redirecting the 3" "ram air" tube toward the end of the 4" intake pipe. The removal of the filter and addition of the smooth radius of the velocity stack reduces the potential restriction and increases flow (because the air moving inside the filter must turn 90* to go down the pipe). The velocity stack should also help stabilize the air moving across the MAF (even though there is a large cell MAF screen in there to reduce turbulence). In short, I am presenting the engine with a mass of cold air.

I topped up the coolant the other day.

(Just trying to keep this thread unlocked)

I don't think it will lock until a year of inactivity.

Fixed something that broke late last year... that wasn't a rear bumper filler. Little dremel clean-up work and some clear JB Weld epoxy.

Also tossed the battery charger on it... because positive thinking. 😉

Renewed the plates today... two years, $240. FML. Oh well - back on the road ASAP.
