Nice job on the bumpers. They look so much better chopped and tucked.
I guess you retained your bumper fillers...I removed mine.

Welcome to the "G" world Rodney; I missed you in introductions. You've done what I had wanted to do for 30 years! I Finley took the easy way out & did fiberglass covers. But if I had your metal working skills I would of went the same route you have taken years ago. Now that I have the fiberglass covers I'm glad that it worked out as it did. Because they are many pounds lighter. The down side is I've given up some crash protection. Anyway we all want to see your finished project. Take care, Ole' Bob.
Those titles ('master mechanic', 'g body guru', etc.) are based on number of posts on this forum. However, if you read enough posts from Ol' Bob (vanrah), you will see that he clearly understands how to make one of these cars go fast. Not sure about skill, chroming will tell the tell. Take it by your gbody name you are a master mechanic. Want to put a 200 4r or a 700r4 trans. Want would you recommend? Thanks!

If it were me, I'd go with a 200R4. Better gearing. One from a Monte SS, GN, or a 442 would be preferred for the 'performance' tuning stock with those. Not sure about skill, chroming will tell the tell.
