Try gardner exhaust, they make the most factory correct exhaust on the market. They are expensive but worth the money if that's what your looking for.
Currently looking for an 83-84 setup. Called and spoke with Mr. Gardner today and he is backed up for a couple years. He said he was unsure sure if he will ever get to making the reproduction 442 set up again. Waiting for a call back from Waldron's...

These cars are starting to demand money, so maybe someone will make one that is an exact replacement. Unfortunately every shop seems to be massively backed up these days. Hopefully Waldron comes through, expect it to be brutally expensive though.

But at least not yet serving the G-body market. I don't think they have much if anything other than 1979 on back. So if you think their in-stock selection is expensive...try a custom deal from them.

Call for pricing = if you have to ask, you cannot afford it.

All I'll say on these folks is that Dad bought a stainless system from them for his car (Galaxie). Based on our experience, expect to have to cut, weld and bend the system to make it fit.
Here is a decent write up about the Hooker 16810 kit on a Hurst... Any thoughts on this kit?

I have used that kit, it was far superior to any of these factory replacement kits looks wise(mandrel bends), fit was good and all 2.5" with Aerochamber mufflers at that time. Last I saw it, came with turbo mufflers. It was a noticeable gain over the shrunk down in one section single exhaust with a glass pack on my 88 CSC. I actually kept the back half and replaced the Y pipe with a compact X and custom 2.5" dual front pipes and Sanderson shorties. That made a big difference pulling my boat in the hills with my 88 and acceleration too. You need a different cat flange, I believe. If available, it is a very nice system, just not resto points correct. Good luck.

So it makes my the headache I had with my Pypes tailpipe look like a mild issue?

Comes with a"Test pipe" that clamps to the front exhaust downpipe and correct flange for the Y pipe for those who can /want to eliminate CAT. Current version does not come with mufflers for twice the price from years ago. Seems like it would work in the meantime. My car is a "daily driver".
