I have no idea how you painted the car in a garage with all the dust in and out of the car and there is no black paint on anything in the garage....

There is, you just dont see it. On top of everything. My wife constantly reminds me.

Toby, I understand the part about sore arms. My pockets are deeper these days, but I don't remember running out of steam in my 20's like I do these days. I like the rims. I just picked up a free set of GTA rims from a neighbor. I went the wrong way and found a replacement rear (cheap) on EBay to replace the bent one. Are those really GNX rims, or 4 front GTA wheels? I read that McLaren spec'd really funky front and rear backsets. I think I'll polish and repaint mine black like yours. Outstanding work on the paint and body. Love the new interior; did I see a tag that said 'PEI'? I hope the proceeds from the 8.5 helped offset that cost. Looking for a Camaro now to donate the rear disc setup.

yes, the sale from the rear end purchased some other items. Those covers.,.....$1200.

there must be alot of dust in the paint, even in paint booths that have exhaust fans and are perfectly clean still end up with a few dust particles in the paint.

The car looks really good Toby. I know you said that the front end is a bit low, but it looks really nasty at that stance, with those wheels and tires on it. What size tires are you running on the car?

dust, nope....couple specs and fibers that I will get sanded out. Got 3 coats of 50% solids clear. Have lots of meat to sand down for a good flat smooth finish. THe doors were the same way, they are glass perfect now.

Thanks!

THe car has 16x8 GNX wheels with 245/50/16 V rated tires. I did raise it just a little to keep the tires from rubbing a bit.

it has a respectable rake now. I have to keep in mind the entire interior needs to go in and therefore will need to make ajustments again.

put some glass in tonight to see how dark the windows would look....omg....

I've had my car for 2 years and I haven't gotten to half of the sh*t you did in 6 months  Guess who's feeling lazy? Lol

Purely motovated to finish one of these and enjoy it in the spring. I will also be taking this car to the GM Nats for the Gbody tent.

wanna trade
