I don't believe GM published those numbers. At least, I've never seen them. From what I've seen, about 2/3 of them came as open diffs. Nothing more than a guess though really. Hopefully others will chime in.

i know i have been lacking on pics and vids but i have been working like a dog. ok i talked to the guy who is doing the body work and every thing is going fine the doors are off he is working on those now. he has not got to the front fender or the front cap. i will post a vid thursday when im off.

now everything on the 84 ss is stock i would love to put a chevy valve cover air cleaner kit from jegs. but the one's i've seen dont have the oil refill cap on the valve cover could you chevy guy's point me in the right direction. and where can i get a super chip from.

my 84 ss has 116000 miles on it it run great no smoke no shake and quite, i was thinking of switching to synthetic (royal purple) my first question is can i switch and what's the advantage of using royal purple cause i have heard great thing about it.

I think the majority of people would agree that you should not spend extra money on oil and just go w some good old dinosaur bones as was originally intended for the car to be dining on get some Castrol high mileage or something
