i have been hearing good things about royal purple, and thanks for the input but i still have to make a decision on the oil for the rearend and motor. and i still need to get up to the body shop to check on progress of the SS. i will post a video 2day.....

I have always had good results when I switched to Royal Purple engine oil and differential fluid. When I can afford it I am definantly going to switch my transmission to Royal Purple. As long as you always did your oil changes periodically I wouldn't see any problem with switching to RP. An oil like Castrol GTX High Mileage would also work fine or any other high mileage oil and a good quality filter with an anti-drainback valve.

Quick question can I put air shocks on all for corners because I wanna adjust the ride height at random but I don't wanna invest in a air ride kit.

I've got 1.5 stamped steel roller tip rockers on mine (Summit). Voodoo 61001 cam/standard push rods. Has worked great going on 2 years. That cam woke up the 305 quite a bit.

ok guys i know you think i gave up on the monte, not its still in the body shop the thing is every time they take a panel or door off they find rust. now with that said i didn't want bondo all over the car. so the guys at the shop are taking care of the rust the right way with sheet metal and fiberglass. i love my gbody and i plan on keeping it for years to come and i want the body work did right. i will have some footage up this week sometime.
