Nice Monte SS and LS set up. I'm curious, why did you choose to go with the Edelbrock intake instead of a factory plastic LS3 style intake? How much does all the Edelbrock stuff cost?

I too also saw your monte on the MCSS site. I am putting in a 5.3/4L65E now. so what header CO are you using. trying to find one"s full length , with O2 bungs installed ( have looked at many , but most state u must use their engine adaptors) I found after trail and error the hooker clam shell type workd. BTW , that's gonna be a bad *ss when ur done ! thanks axld86

Those are Heddman Headers, and just the regular SBC->LS Plates you can find on Ebay..bolt the Clamshells to the plates.

This Edelbrock will make FAR more power ontop of this Engine than a stock polymer intake ever will..the demand for air will be something that a poly intake will never support.
There is about $1300 in that Intake setup pictured.

It has a menacing look that I like.

But honestly I see no sleeper in your sleeper.
Maybe if it had an exhaust that couldn't be heard at an idle.
