also since my heads are milled i was thinking the stock 7.4 lq9 push rods might not work. i was thinking maybe a 7.375, but then again aftermarket cams are smaller than stock cams circle wise so i might be ok...Guess ill get a push rod checker to be safe and know for sure. I dont want to guess and have to deal with a noisy valve train.

My Holley midrise, Holley belt drive kit, and valve covers are almost done. Decided to have the intake and valve covers coated in torch red to match the interior and body stripes etc. The brackets and truck spacers are coated gloss black. going to have the ac compressor painted black and Im buying a high output alt from mechman.com that is allready powder coated gloss black.

All sandblasted and taped up.

I had some setbacks, but the motor is finally in. When i had the motor pulled apart, we found that one of the cam bearings had walked out. So honned the cam tunnel replaced the all the cam bearings, main bearings, polished crank honed the cylinder walls, , so you can say i basically have a rebuilt engine.
waiting on some oxygen sensor extensions,and map sensor harness to fire it up.

I also put in oracle glass sealed beam h4 conversion bi xenon hid lights with led halo. i wired them up to oracle two step led switches(kind of confusing to wire at first) that i have on my center console. 1 is for the hid halos, the 2nd is for led puddle lights under the bumpers, the third is for exhaust cutouts and i have not found a use for the 4th one yet.

stubby antenna from autozone. 12 bucks i think.

I also bought a b&m street bandit shifter and dakota digital dash that is waiting to be installed.
