Got my Cutlass out last night, and took her for a ride for the first time in a month. Felt good. The pictures of the Monte Carlo are of my first G body I had in high school, the car that started my G body craze

What number heads are on that motor? Looks pre 75 due to the carb and paint colour, the year and different compression ratios affects cam choice. You can route both pipes under the passenger side and plug the extra outlet on the manifold. Go with 2.25" pipe if you stick with manifolds, they have to be that size at the outlet anyways.

The heads are number 8's, the worst flowing heads of the era of motor. But I have a bigger problem with the cutlass than what I thought as of last night. I got around to pulling the seats and carpet last night to see how bed the drivers side floor pan was. I knew it was rotted, just wasn't sure how bad. Looking into it last night, the drivers side floor is pretty rotted up to the firewall. The passenger side has a smaller whole. The back where the base of the back seat sits also has some rot up around the hump for the wheel well area. Don't know what to do. The frame really needs taken off to repair the frame rust properly. I don't know if it would be better to salvage what I can from the car, including motor and trans, and find a solid roller, or try to fix this car. Let me know what you guys think please

Does anyone have a link for a step by step on removing the frame from the body? I'm sure its been documented on here somewhere, just haven't been able to find anything yet
