Is that a computer controlled D.U.I. distributor?

Nice Salon, not too happy about the engine color but other than that veddy, veddy nice.

Great shots of the engine compartment - I actually forgot how "hosed" & "wired" up it is under there - spaghetti-licous. With my 86 it's nice, clean and de-hosed.

Great vehicle and good price for it. Plan on making the A/C functional?

Also, the shot of the undercarriage with the trans pan showing - is that the stock pan for the 200-4R (guessing that's what you have in there)? It looks deeper than stock from what I remember.

Plans for the roof?

yea all the engine upgrades were done by the previous owner, except for removing the air pump and the edelbrock air cleaner,I suppose the ignition is upgraded for a 350,but its still a stock (rebuilt) computer contolled carb on there.

The previous owner emailed pics of the car before i saw it in person and the first thing i did question was the engine color.I dont think it goes good with the burgundy paint, nor mixing mopar colors with gm.I dont plan to paint it black because my sbo 350 will go in sortly.

Thanks guy,My other cutlass was almost completley dehosed, except for the a/c.Its like a octopus is stangling my 307 in there!Well the last owner told me he took the a/c compressor off it and sortly after it started squealing so he put it back on.I want to gut the a/c box, compressor and the heater hoses eventually and maybe find an oldsmobile alternator bracket for the passsenger side.

I know for a fact its a 200 4r and the pan looks stock to me,but i could be wrong. And the roof?well I will get a vinyl top kit for it and since i plan on restoring my cutlass,it will be stripped and painted the"RIGHT" shade of burgundy metallic.

i have a parts cutlass i could cut that out from.

Cool, I'll let you know.

Upon further inspection this weekend, it's seems I'll be buying rails, rear bumper and doors for this car. What appeared to be minor rust in the doors and rear rails has turned into a nightmare. Pass door is toast, drivers door is close, and d/s rail is blown. Pass side rail may be salvagable.

Funny thing is, I'm not surprised at all, lol. I'm basically going to button this thing up to get through the winter and hopefully I'll have scrounged up enough cash to fix it for next spring. Looking at about $1000-$1200 I think.
