Still very high on the list is a very dark black cherry, something that almost looks black at night.
Black is tempting but my Monte is black so I am kind of avoiding going that route.
My first Chevelle was a dark black cherry. I still love that color. I don't know how I'm going to make up my mind when the time comes.
I like your taste in rims for the car. A dark Blackcherry with blacked-out trim and those wheels will look killer. That is what I have been planning for my 79 Monte some day. Your new wheels look a little different than I have seen before or I have not paid enough attention to the new aftermarket ones? They have a extra polished ring between the hoop and the mesh. Looking good!
The spokes on the rims were more of a light gunmetal when I got them so I painted them black, I am still considering painting that ring with the polished rivets black also but wanted to see it with just the spokes painted first, I am still undecided at this point.
Not really the Cutlass has a squared off wheel well and is actually flared farther up than the GNX flares will cover and you will still see that part..
I see. It ok to be different. What did it look like with the spokes grey? Did you take a picture of that?
