Great progress today, frame is officially mounted to the body. Got the new bolts and they made it pretty easy. Have to say it was way easier to lift the bare frame into place than it has been to try and lower the body onto a finished chassis by the time you wiggle it under it with wheels and tires on it

Also mounted the camaro license plate bracket. Used plasti dip on the licence plate side over the paint to avoid rattles

What is the difference with the Camaro license plate bracket?
 
Yeah exactly, it's a wonder at the gas station you're not fighting the flap while trying to get the filler in there or having to shove the cap in the gap

Today was small progress, temporarily mounted the upper front control arms, installed their ball joints and mocked a few other things in like the rear axle. Also cleaned up some mysterious old rubber off the car, wonder how that got there 🤔

It stays down when you flip it down unlike the normal G body unit that springs back up.
Is it spring loaded? Does it stay up in place? If I put one on, I would call it a Firebird license plate bracket.
