I love your monte maybe its because you and I both got 87 LSs but thats besides the point. Nice Car man!

I've sold the Monte Carlo !

This has been a fantastic time, many things I have learned along the way. I've got to know a lot of great people which are now personal friends on the Facebook. I will continue to follow your work, the new owner is aware of this build thread and may or may not continue to post in to it. He has some great plans, mostly apparel and visual related, I have spent most of the time for the past two years on mechanical work.

Thank you for your interest and input, it has helped me a lot getting this car to where it became.

Hello, Im Bergþór the new owner of the LS and Im loving it so far, unfortunetly I only got 2 or 3 days of driving it before it had to go into storage for the winter, I will keep you posted on this thread in May when I retrieve it out of storage and start working on it. Until then here it is in the warm storage unit.

Welcome to the site from Houston. I'm glad to see the car found a good home.

Welcome, what are your plans for it?

Great thread Sævar. Looked like a ton of work. Most people on this side of the Atlantic would have scavenged it for parts and sent the rest to the junkyard. But tons of respect for you taking something rare in your part of the world and resurrecting so that it can be enjoyed for another 30 years or so. I'm sure Bergþór will take great care of it.

The source of panels from http://autobodyspecialt.com/ is fantastic. I'll probably have to make use of them for my Cutlass.

I absolutely love the trucks. Amazed to see a 1st gen Explorer built like that. I've got a '92, but not nearly built to the same degree as yours.

Thanks for sharing!
