Trimmed the rear spoiler wing tips off. Didn't like how they came out over the tail lights. Just need to do some filler work and smooth them off:

Cut all of the fiberglass body kit pieces in half and have each side fitting much nicer now. Fiberglassing in some metal studs so that they'll be removeable later on. Then we can bolt them on and trim the width of the pieces and refiberglass everything back together into one piece.

Studs with just resin applied:

Fiberglass reinforcement that will go on next:

I like what you did with the spoiler. Getting it off the taillights emphasizes its "Cutlassness" and makes it look less like a Monte Carlo trunk.

I was wondering if you tell me your back spacing of your wheels front and rear, and how much you notched the frame. Not trying to steal your work your just in line with some of my goals.
I would defiantly paint the bezels black. I like a subtle and clean look

Fronts are 17x9.5 with 4.75" BS but could really use more in my case. I had forgot to factor in the extra 3/8" thickness of the brake rotor which gives me essentially a 4.375" BS.

I actually bolted my fronts onto the rear of my '81 and they fit just fine without a notch. I only have a 245/45 tire on them though.

Rears are 17x11's with 6" BS and fit perfect with the frame notch.

Been a while since we did the notch but I'm thinking it was somewhere around 1.5". Basically notched it back to the factory weld seam on the frame.

Haven't been to Edgewater since I was in college. I had a design/build studio course one semester in Over-the-rhine and on Friday's I would stop off for the T&T at Edgewater on my way home.

I typically go to Tri-state Dragway because it's closer and usually a lot less busy. Cheaper too. ;)

I don't make it to the track much now that my kids older. He plays baseball in the summers.
I have a buddy that's been tryn to get me to to tri-state track. If you ever see a Jensen Healy up there with a sbc and deer antlers on the front it's him. Yes I said deer antler. He hit one a couple years ago with the Jensen. He said the deer took out the front of his car so he took out its antlers. Lol

Front and rear pieces fiberglassed back together and first coat of primer applied:

Also bought a set of the LEX-1-HO side rockers from Lauren Engineering to fill in the gap between the wheel wells. Thought I might be able to get away without using anything but after bolting on the front and rear bumper pieces it was obvious we needed something there.
