Happy holidays,

Was not sure what thread to post this in, but decided to post it here in General.
Found this B body wagon at a trans shop in Fredericksburg Va.
From what I can tell at a cursory glance, it looks to be in fairly good shape on the outside.
Inside did not look bad either. Didn't get a chance to look at the engine, but it say the car (engine?) only has 6000 miles. Did not look at the OD.
They want $6400 for it. Ehhhhhhh, well maybe.
Overall, it does not look in bad shape.
I'd give $4000 tops if I was interested.
If you are interested, you can give this person a call on their for sale sign number in the photo.
Hope it finds a good home.

"350 3bbl". Likely neither. More like 305 4bbl.
i don't know what that means, other than the motor may have been replaced. factory "B" wagons came with olds 307 engines starting about 1986 thru to the end of that body style, 1990?

Probably right. I'm used to only seeing Parisienne sedans that had 305 Chevy engines. Pontiac wagons aren't as common as Oldsmobiles or Buicks.

Didn't the 307 Olds cars have 200-4R transmissions and 5x4.75 bolt pattern wheels vs 700-R4 and 5x5 bolt pattern? Or maybe just police cars were 5x5? As far as I know everything was standardized after 1991.

Looks like a good car, but the wrong person has it trying to flip it. Someone is likely to give most of the asking price. Then when something inevitably breaks after year-round daily service, straight to the junkyard it'll go.

this era olds 307 powered wagons came with 200-4r trans. "B" sedans usually had 305 with 700r4 drive trains. you won't find a 305/200-4r combo in the "B" body cars.
also, these wagons always had 5x5 wheel pattern with 12" front rotors and 11" drums. police sedans and HD suspensions, like a taxi, came with this also.
