2 cutlass questions

1)I'm having a hard time finding a center console for my 84 cutlass(and i'm not paying $200 for one)so my question is has anyone ever put a monte ss console into a cutlass?

2)The area behind my rear license plate is all cracked up and was wonder if that piece is connected to the rear bumper cover or is it like the montes and its a separate piece?

I have seen newer blazer consoles in them i like those better than the monte consoles.
