200c to 700-R4 Swap?

I plan on swapping my 200c in my '85 Monte out in favor of a '93 700-R4. I know I need to shorten the driveshaft, but what needs to be done to the crossmember?

It needs to go back, but I don't think it'll bolt up in the right place. You can get one from Jegs that bolts in for $130.

I cut the mounting pad (where the transmission mount is bolted) a few inches and drilled a new hole on my V8 crossmember. When the crossmember is tried to bolt in place the crossmember mount hits the 700R4 pan. so triming the mount until the crossmember can be bolted to the frame and not hit the 700R4 pan, then drill a new hole .The crossmember in the photo is not my crossmember.
