Why is he not? As a matter of fact, you guys that are not going to make it need to post up your reason for not coming. Kinda like a top ten list of best excuses. EXAMPLE= need to change oil in my tires, wife won't let me cause she wears the pants, didn't donate enough plasma, have a primer spot on my door, etc
OK, are you guys that are going to dinner Friday night at the Hard Rock buffet cool with eating at 7:30? Also, post here if your going to be there. This way I can have a head count to tell the girls at the buffet seating. Will need to know if your bringing your wife, girlfriend, partner, kids, etc. for a good head count number. Just don't bring your wife and girlfriend at the same time. Also, we could exchange phone numbers in case of break downs or etc. If your interested in giving out your phone number to a redneck, PM me. If anyone needs repairs Friday night, we can go to my place which is about 10-15 mins from Hard Rock Casino
So has anyone done this section of 66 before? I haven't. Any tips on spots to stop for photos, postcards etc, strange route notes/turns/etc., general stuff to know?
Looks like 7:30pm on Fri. at the Catoosa Hard Rock buffet, and then meet before 7am Sat. at the Blue Whale.... try to leave at 7am for Springfield. I will try and put together a turn-by-turn but like I said I have no idea what I'm doing. I tried to find a map of the show/fairgrounds at Springfield to see where entrants are supposed to go, but I couldn't find anything.
Chime in if you're going (and when), in any capacity, even if its just to the show in Springfield as a spectator. Down to the wire now!!
