2018 BFG Radial T/A vs. Cooper Cobra

I'm due for new tires, but I've had my Cooper Cobras on for 6 years of all-weather summer driving including 1 full winter and I think they've been great.
10/10, would buy again.*

*I'm not buying them again because I'm switching to 16 inch wheels and I'll probably never have another daily to justify using them on.

Everyone with a camaro that would jump coke cans, has a 3/4 race cam and would win the $100 bill taped on the dash bet, owner puts radial TA's on their car and I didn't want to be associated with that (no I am not saying everyone that buys Radial TA's is like that 😛 )
You forgot to mention my skullet.

I run T/As for only 1 reason -- nostalgia. They fit the day-2 feel I'm trying to capture with my car, right along with the Appliance wheels, Sears cassette deck in the dash and Van Halen tapes in the glovebox.
If i was running more modern suspension and brakes along with more than 140hp you can be sure I'd have more appropriate tires and wheels.

Say what? I need some new skins and you're saying that BF Goodrich isn't making them anymore?

BF Goodrich hasn't made tires since they were bought out by Michilin in 1988 and IMO Michilin is a overpriced sh@t tire.

Yeah I’m after “the look” mainly too. I like my special snowflake wheels too much. She doesn’t get out much except for the occasional back road run or show, let alone get punished. Lots to consider. Didn’t know about the master crafts so that’s another option.

I had the blackwall primewell 195/75/14s on my 14x6 steels. Great tires for about $50 a pop. Good in the rain, grabby in the snow and rain and gravel.

The best looking 14" RWL tire is the Firestone Wide Oval radial tires. They are available in a 27" tall version an look almost like slicks on the sidewall trying to make them look like bias ply tires. Problem is I can buy two BFG T/A's for one tire, over $300 a piece just converting to the US price to Canadian dollars! The tire I would like to see made with the classic diamond tread, very aggressive tread Dunlop GT qualifier. Again the were radials that almost looked like bias ply tires and a very unique tread.
