I got some bad news if my sub 3100# Camaro can't be the Miata. Do not try their lines either. . .
Miatas.... have lines? Of coke???

That explains something:

I'm not so sure... I mean, out of 4 people visible here on a sunny, nearly cloudless day, 3 are using umbrellas?

Is that just a canadian version of reality thing?

It was 99*F out (not accounting for the shoe melting asphalt), not overcast, little wind, a UV index of 9, and stuck in COVID masks. Thus the umbrellas.

I'm Mary f*cking Poppins y'all!

Well? Did you win?

I learned a lot, had a blast, met some nice people, and got out of the house. I'd call that a win. Times should be posted later so I should know how I stacked up.

A shot from my air conditioned cockpit. A game changer from the swamp *ss generating heat racing the Buick.

I am going to need Rick Moranis to fire up his shrink ray.

Lots of room to grow into this car's abilities.

Nice thing about autox is the speeds are low enough to hit the limit without getting in way over your head. Trying to keep the *ss planted is your first challenge, were you able to make progress there? I autox'd my Z06 once on a cold winter day and that was paramount. So much so that I left the nannies on and stayed out of them. I bet I'm better weather I could have done better without, but there was no traction that day. I bet your conditions sucked too though. How big a crowd?

I left full traction/stability control (Street mode) on for most of the day (suspension and steering in Track) - I took it off a few times to see if the car responded differently for the speeds traveled and how out of shape the car was. It didn't matter much - as I didn't loop the car (yet). Big feeling out period. The event was capped at 40 people, 80 is normal.
