prix

They're both good looking cars. If the choice was mine, I'd keep the Grand Prix. G Bodies are my favorite cars though. I'm sure a lot of other guys will agree.

Oops..I'd sell the G body.
Am I banned now?

The Trans Am looks way nicer and has a much higher value. If you want money, keep the Grand Prix. I nearly bought a 1985 Grand Prix for $2900, 20+ years ago, I could buy a nice one for that right now.

I am a G-body guy, but, that T/A is way cool. I would have to keep the F-body. Or, in my case, keep both.

A 76 TA will always be worth 4X more than an '85 GP in the same condition. If you mod the GP it will be worth more if you part it out when you sell it.

If you HAVE to sell one, selling the F-body will get you real money sooner. Selling an '85 GP, even one with a built LS motor, would be much harder, even though you are selling it for way less.

People with money want finished cars. Car guys like us don't pay big bucks for cars. People who can't fix ****, do. (they pay people to fix **** for them). Putting a $100 headliner and $100 carpet set in the TA will get you $2000 more when you sell it.

I agree, for more money, sell the t/a. If I had to choose, I'd sell the GP. If you do sell the t/a, put a headliner and carpet in it. Given the choice though, I'd keep em both.

Btw, is that a real 50th anniversary t/a, or just gold painted rims and grilles? (My dad has a 76 t/a)

I say, if you don't need to get rid of one, don't think about it, keep both. They're both too juicy. Whichever side of the bed you roll out of, you've got the car.

So, what are you doing, showing off, rubbing people's noses in it? 😀
