When I was looking for my Regal project I was considering other cars such as second gen F bodies but even ones that needed a good amount of work were more than I was looking to spend and that one is a very nice example of what is considered a collectible Trans Am, where the GP is just a basic model and I feel if it were one of more collectible Gbodies the answers might be far different.
But if I could only keep one it would be the T/A.

I was already a Traitor when I joined since I had my Taurus, Lincoln and my Monte, at least now I am even with my Regal and for an extra bonus I still have the 81' Cutlass roller in my backyard.

like others have said only you will know what works for you. The look of the disco Fbody is growing on me ( its taken many years ). In my circumstance I really want a classic car that can comfortably seat my family of 4 adults. An F-body ( or in my case an early C10 4x4 ) wont do that so I enjoy the flexibility of my Monte to have the looks, power and seating ability. The Fbody will always grow in value more than a Grand Prix.
