A freind purchased a Qjet (from Holley I think), one of the remanufactured units on summit. Looks and works great. Quality piece.

They even sell it for specific vehicles. The tune was bang on.

Either the Holley reman or one built by an expert builder. My Holley reman was nib off ebay for cheap. Ran great with little adjustment.

Alright, I'm getting aftermarket pistons for my build but I cant find any with the same compression height so I think im going to have to get the deck shave a little right?? and I also wanted to know if i do have to will my edlebrock performer intake fit on it without being stock deck height??

Have you looked in the for sale section lately? 0.030+ pistons for $50?

No not lately i gave up on the piston part i was going to run stock for a while until I have enough money to change pistons and the heads because Oldsmobile's are high lol

Alright, thought long and hard about this but money is not my best friend right now so im going to leave the inside of my SBO stock im just going to use a edlebrock intake some headers Q-jet carb new fuel pump until i can get the money right but i wanted to ask if i bore my engine .30 over how much you think it would effect the MPG? or should i leave it all the same just try to find some good heads instead of these 8?
